To prove the ground reality that the advent of new century has virtually converged the entire world into a global village paving the way for translating this dream into a reality that equilibrium is being maintained through the opening of vistas of development for every one irrespective of race, creed and color in every corner of the planet of Earth by squeezing distances and diminishing evils of discrimination.

Winner of PTV Award for Best News Reporter of the year 1982, a rare distinction conferred by Pakistan Television for outstanding performance in investigative reporting and for scoops.

Winner of Mir Khalil-ur-Rehman Gold Medal by Citizen Forum in 1991-92 for services rendered to promote electronic journalism. Mir Khalil-ur-Rehman was the founder of Pakistan's largest circulated newspapers "The Jang" and "The News International" as well as magazines.

Selected by World Biographical Society (Pakistan Chapter) for inclusion of Biographic sketch in the 1998-99 edition of "WHO'S WHO IN PAKISTAN" a reference book of international repute.

Honorary Electronic Media Advisor of Pakistan National Heart Association (PANAH) a public welfare organization with Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan as its Patron-in-Chief.

Life Patron of Al-Shifa Eye Trust, the largest institution for treatment of eye diseases in Pakistan headed by Lt. General (R) Jehandad Khan, former Governor of the Sindh Province as its Chief Executive.
